Not Quite Top-10

Over at the Pietist Schoolman, Chris Gehrz, lists his “10 Blogs by Christian Historians You Should Be Reading.” Well, Historical Conversations didn’t make the list, but it did get an honorable mention. We’ll have to blog harder and try to crack that list next year.

In the meantime, if you’re enjoying Historical Conversations, you’d definitely do well to read the Pietist Schoolman. Chris offers thoughtful, sustained posts on a very regular basis.

For commentators, what blogs would you recommend that you read alongside Historical Conversations?

  1. You’re very gracious, Jonathan. At various points I had an 11, 12, and 13 in the title, but decided I’d sneak some mentions into the body of the post and leave myself a chance to praise other blogs more extensively the next time I try such an exercise. I enjoy Historical Conversations and am looking forward to seeing more from it now that you’re back in the Cities. (What with all that ample free time that a Christian college teaching/service load provides, right?)

  2. Chris, that’s right. I almost don’t know what to do with myself now that the semester has started. 🙂
