Visiting a Different World

Last week I had the opportunity to visit Lakewood, New Jersey, which is a community composed primarily of Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jewish groups. The center of the community is a very large yeshiva, or institute for Torah study. It was a unique experience. Today, I reflect on the experience at Religion in American History Blog.
